Apple power accessories are covered under Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, but not against accidental damage or misuse.
This applies whether the product is purchased directly from Apple or from an Apple Authorised Reseller.

Oct 2, 2016 12:45 PM in response to Jonathan UKby ZaniebA,IS it possible to put warranty on it In case I do misuse it or accidentally break it?

Oct 3, 2016 6:40 AM in response to ZaniebAby imobl,What you want is not a warranty - warranty covers only manufacturing defects.
What you want is insurance, which Apple does not offer for its products.
See if BestBuy offers such insurance, or ask your insurance agent
about a rider on your homeowner's/tenant's insurance. Staples does
offer additional cost protection for some items they sell, but I do not
know what if covers (you could check if you wish).
Cost for protection against misuse and/or accidental damage may be greater
than the replacement cost of the item.
