    Hi Dina61,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you have just upgraded to iOS 10.0.2, and you are unable to send messages to users that have Android phones. I can definitely imagine that this is preventing you from communicating with some people, so I want to make sure that I help you get this issue resolved.

Please go to Settings > Messages > Send as SMS. Make sure that this is toggled on (green). If it's already on, toggle off, and then toggle back on.

Once you've done that, please test by sending another message to an Android user, and see if you get the same result.

For additional information, check out: About iMessage and SMS/MMS

    Have an amazing day!

I Have the same problem. I have toggled the mms tab off and on, reset network settings, restarted my phone. The only way i can send a message to an android user is if I make it a group text and include myself. They get the message but when they respond it comes back outside of the group text and they can't receive my reply unless I send thru the group text. Very frustrating!
