Q: Pages version 6.0

I have a 30 page document (created in Pages 5.6.2) that has approximately 10 different sections. On page 2 of the document I have a TOC outlining the different sections and sub-sections.

I want to link the TOC to each of the different sections and subsections, the theory being if somebody wants to jump to a particular area they can simple click on the appropriate heading in the TOC. It needs to be understood that once the document is completed it is sent out in a PDF format.

This I know should not be a difficult task but I've spent hour upon hour looking for the answer with no result

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

In Pages v5, and v6, the only available links in the TOC are the page numbers, and then, only if you have them checked for viewing in the Table of Contents tab on the right panel. Only Pages '09 supports intra-document links in the TOC, and bookmarks for content other than page numbers.

The hyperlinked TOC page numbers are inactive when exported to PDF from Pages v5.6.2. Pages v6 enables hyperlinked page numbers when exported to PDF.
