Q: iTunes cant transfer to my iPhone

After the 2 last updates on my iPhone 6s, iTunes has refused to tranfer audiobooks from iTunes libary to my iPhone 6s. So at the moment my iPhone is no good for me. iTunes is the only reason for me to have iPhone.

I Travel a lot, and audiobooks make the time in air, on tracks or in car go faster. Have over 400 books in iTunes, but can't send any to the phone. iTunes updated today. Iphone updated today. Windows also updated today.

iTunes sees the my Iphone. I can sync, but no respons on sending files to the phone. What to do.

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

iTunes

I'm only using iBooks. Do not have music on iTunes or iPhone, so there is no playlists.

But I restored backup. Lost all files on iPhone and now its seems to work again.

Select the device with this icon first:

Then review your sync selections for each media type before syncing in case they have been reset/unset.

Done, but no success.
Transfer to my iPad 2 is no problem, but it's not updated like my iPhone.
One other differens is that on connecting my iPad, I have to confirm on the Ipad. This no longer happens on connecting the iPhone.

Does the iPhone show in iTunes at all? If not see iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows.

Yes, I can sync and take backup of iPhone. But not delete files on the phone or transfer new ones.

Are you using either Apple Music or iTunes Match on the iPhone? If so all of your library will appear on the device, and you can manage what is downloaded locally to it, or streamed on demand. Deleting anything from the device (as opposed to removing the download) deletes it from your library too.

Otherwise if you manage the device by syncing with selected playlists then you make changes to the playlists and sync, and the device should be updated to reflect the new state of the lists.

See Download your past purchases - Apple Support. You should be able to redownload all of your iBooks.
