Q: Can't Update Apple Apps on my new iMac
I am just setting up a new iMac running Sierra. There are five apps that won't update through the App store, although the system is telling me there are updates available. These are Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie and Photos. When I try to update them through the App Store, I get the following error message:
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
Before this new iMac, I was using an older iMac running Snow Leopard. I am signed into the same Apple ID on both computers. The old computers has all of the above apps loaded on it.
Help!
