Sep 27, 2016 6:52 PM in response to Gsyguyby deggie,So you have a problem that when you pair your iPhone with your selfie stick it immediately starts to make a telephone call? That is one weird selfie stick.

Sep 27, 2016 6:53 PM in response to unhappy nilsby deggie,You need to contact AppleCare or use feedback and tell Apple about this and provide information regarding what model head unit/car you are attempting to use it with.

Immediately after updating to IOS 10.0.2 my phone will not stay connected to the Bluetooth in my car. i have to keep pressing reconnect from the car view screen. This has never happened before the upgrade. I have an iPhone 6.

Oct 5, 2016 1:09 PM in response to Diana2211by medicus07,Same effect here... iPhone 7 on iOS 10.0.2 ...
Workaround for me: I start a call, wait for one ring and hang up immediately. Than everything works normal.

Oct 5, 2016 1:14 PM in response to deggieby ChrisJ4203,I have an iPhone 6S, and shortly after updating to iOS 10.0.2, I went out into my car, a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with the full navigation system. The phone connected immediately and worked just fine. Concerned because it didn't fail like others are reporting, I got into my wife's 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited. It also connected there and worked fine, and just to make sure, I connected to CarPlay, and I couldn't make it fail either. What should I do?

Oct 9, 2016 4:26 PM in response to unhappy nilsby rejoyce318,Arrgh! My bluetooth has started connecting with my phone within a minute after starting the car (Ford). I'll have the radio playing, then all of a sudden, I see my cell phone number, & the radio cuts out. When I go to my phone, it's fine, nothing's happening there, but I can't get the phone to disconnect from my car. This never happened before the 10.0.2 "up"grade last weekend.

Oct 10, 2016 9:05 AM in response to unhappy nilsby Gerald Edgar,You can read lots of posts here about iOS10 not cooperating with cars. I think in some cases we just have to wait for the cars to get updated software.

Oct 10, 2016 9:41 AM in response to Gerald Edgarby rejoyce318,I chatted with Support last night. They admit it's a known issue.

Oct 10, 2016 10:48 AM in response to rejoyce318by ChrisJ4203,Yes, it is a known issue. Read the post just above yours. Vehicle manufacturers are not keeping their systems updated to work with the latest versions of Bluetooth, which is what the iPhone's have. When changes are made, they need to update their systems. The vehicle manufacturer is who you need to address. They get beta software to ensure they test their systems to maintain compatibility. When they don't is when it gets broke. If their systems will not support the latest Bluetooth, they need to inform their customers of the non compatibility.

What a disappointment iOS update !
I wish I can go back to IOS 9

Oct 12, 2016 12:45 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by Diana2211,So, I am expected to go to the car dealership and pay who knows how much to get my software updated in the car because Apple doesn't have software which works with all versions of Bluetooth. That is a completely unacceptable answer and I hope you are mistaken.
