Q: Split screen

I have a  2015 MacBook Pro. I was trying to do a spilt screen and it won't do it. I have checked my settings to make sure that displays have separate spaces is on and I am clicking the green arrows at the top. Is there any thing else I can do? This feature worked on my 2011 MacBook Air. Is this a feature that is not offered on the newer computers?

    Hi thefoose,

I understand that you'd like to use Split View on your MacBook Pro. In order to engage Split View, you'll ned to hold down the full-screen button at the top left corner of a window.

    Enter Split View

    1. Hold down the full-screen button   in the upper-left corner of a window.
    2. As you hold the button, the window shrinks and you can drag it to the left or right side of the screen.
    3. Release the button, then click another window to begin using both windows side by side.

Use two Mac apps side by side in Split View

    All my best!
