Servers EnterpriseHi chicopadeiro,
- Have the current version, 3.8 (380A95) of Apple Remote Desktop running on macOS Sierra, upgraded from El Capitan 10.11.6
- Does the issue still exist after a restart?
hope this helps, dwbrecovery

Servers EnterpriseSame issue here. In my case SMC reset had no effect
trying to access from OS X el capitan based desktop
it used to work fine before the update. any ideas that sierra does alter some crucial settings by default (e.g. firewall, etc.)?

Servers Enterprise- Try starting up in Safe Mode , then reboot back to normal. Safe Mode should be able to delete the files in /var/folders/zz.
hope this helps, dwbrecovery

Servers EnterpriseI realize, maybe my post was not in the right context, as I connect to my server using the standard screen share function and not ARD.
However, attaching a display did help to resolve the issue for me. It seems that in sierra display management has problems to set a working standard resolution while no display is attached (which was the standard for my server so far - and it worked fine for years...) which results in getting a black or sometimes split screen on your remote computer.
As the issues seem to be similar, this might be worth looking into it.
Otherwise, for deleting files, I would make sure to log on as admin or even using root permissions.

Servers EnterpriseHi agabs_support,
Try:
- Locate ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.RemoteDesktop and rename it ( add .orig ).
- Check if ARD starts with defaults.
- If it starts, stop ARD and copy
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.RemoteDesktop.orig/Data/Library/Preferences/com.a pple.RemoteDesktop.plist
to the same relative location in the new created folder. Ensure first, that the existing plist is moved to the Trash. This will restore the Scripts.
This has worked for me previously, haven't had to use it for a while now.
See how you go, cheers dwbrecovery
