Oct 5, 2016 5:40 AM in response to MoHawk26by shanel-Oz,This is getting truly frustrating. Apple changes something for the right or wrong reason, breaks car Bluetooth (which have almost no chance of being updated) and then ignores community saying it's broken and then continues to do nothing.
Well i'm doing something - I've just ordered a Google Pixel XL. Can't wait until it gets here and I can talk to people in the car again,
THanks,
Shane.

Oct 6, 2016 3:52 AM in response to womoby Scott Lind,That's great news. I had my 2015 C300 in for service yesterday and it was the first time they heard of the iOS 10 bluetooth issue at my dealer. They did't believe me until the service tech tried pairing his iOS 10 phone with my car and couldn't do it.

Oct 6, 2016 4:10 PM in response to MoHawk26by King of Pumkins,I have hear of the 6 being a problem. For me it was the iPhone 7. My AT&T 7 wouldn't stay connected to the audio Bluetooth in my car. If I disabled this feature then I could use Siri etc. I returned the 7 yesterday and am back using my 6s. Works fine even with iOS 10.
I had trouble getting Apple to help. Got a case number and never heard back. Not a great experience and will probably not get AppleCare in the future after several bad experiences.

Oct 7, 2016 10:49 AM in response to Vexx90by Bytndirt,I called last week and opened a ticket for Infiniti G37 and at that time Apple said only Infiniti and Nissan vehicles from 2011 to 2013 were having troubles. I can make calls out but no audio on incoming calls. After update to 10.2 I got half the audio on inbound calls, I can hear them, they still can't hear me. I was told last week that their engineers were working on it. Hope it's fixed soon.

Oct 7, 2016 9:24 PM in response to harry333by zeiche,In my experience, only a few major updates didn't break Bluetooth. It will get fixed, as it always does, in due time.
Now that the new phones practically depend on Bluetooth, iOS 11 might want to be extra careful...

Oct 8, 2016 2:08 PM in response to MoHawk26by docgadget,I have a similar issue. I have an iPhone 6 and an 2012 Infiniti QX56. When I updated to iOS 10 my handsfree bluetooth stopped working. I was able to connect and make out going calls. When I tried to receive incoming calls the phone appeared to connect but no audio came thru. I reset the settings, unpaired and re-paired, the phone without success. I then did a complete phone restore then went thru the same repairing process without success. I then downgraded to iOS 9.3.5 and everything back to working. I spend a lot of time in my car. I don't want to reach for the iPhone each time I get an incoming call. (unsafe). Can someone give us some guidance here?
-
Oct 8, 2016 2:14 PM in response to docgadgetby Vexx90,Yes, stay on 9.3.5 till Apple finds a fix together with the car manufacturer. Open a ticket with Apple regarding the issue and with your car manufacturer as well.
The only way they will fix this if it's getting reported by as many people possible.
Good luck!

Oct 10, 2016 7:10 AM in response to MoHawk26by Oaksey20,I also have the same issue, 2009 Nissan Skyline, audio playback cuts out a few min after use, and Bluetooth is disconnected. I can manually reconnect but then it only works for a few min before cutting out again. I tried resetting network settings, deleting/forgetting and re-adding the phone on the car, restored my phone from the most recent backup but it stil is the same. It seems I can't go back to iOS 9.x ... If I don't use audio playback, as far as I've seen Bluetooth stays connected indefinitely.

Oct 10, 2016 7:45 AM in response to kzmrz9by King of Pumkins,I know it doesn't work for everyone but if you are within the 14 day period you can return the phone -- terrible solution I know but it is what I did. I was really looking forward to the 7, but not without Bluetooth. The 6s is on sale and close to the 7. My 6s running 10.0.02 is close to flawless when connecting audio to my car. I know, not a great solution but I have my doubts that Apple is going to fix the issue any time soon.

Oct 10, 2016 7:52 AM in response to King of Pumkinsby kzmrz9,I Replaced my 6s just 2 weeks ago - sold to my friend- so I'm stack with 7 until they realise model 8 next year, but next year I will be more careful about upgrading my phone- possible I need to break my every year upgrading as look that's make less sens every new model came more messy

Oct 10, 2016 7:57 AM in response to kzmrz9by King of Pumkins,Great point. I think this experience has left me with the same impression - it might just pay to wait until all the bugs are worked out. Best of luck.
