Q: iTunes could not connect to Nike+.

Syncing my Nike+ runs to the Nike+ site was working great for over a year.

Starting two weeks ago, when I connect my 7th gen iPod Nano to my Windows 10 PC I get the following error message:

"iTunes could not connect to Nike+.  You do not have permission to access the requested resource."

And the synchronization stops until I hit "OK".

I can login to the Nike+ site just fine.

I can see my most recent running data in iTunes.

Last week when I fooled around enabling and disabling "Automatically send date to Nike" and logging on the website I got it to update a few more runs.  I haven't been able to recreate that.

I've done the obvious resetting of my PC and Nano.

I enabled disk usage on the Nano and everything under the Trainer folder seemed reasonable, but I'm not sure what to expect there.

Any other suggestions?

The same thing is happening to me. I'm running Windows 10, latest version of iTunes, and this error message just started appearing a few days or possibly a couple weeks ago. I've noticed that if I sync my ipod the first time that it won't send the data to nike. If I restart my computer and do it again, although I still get the same error message, it will sync my run data.

Have you found a solution to this? It would be great if the fine folks at Apple would respond.

I'm having the same issues as well. I'm running macOS Sierra beta and the latest version of iTunes. It's either a problem with the Nike+ servers or Apple. At first I'd get the error message but my runs would still sync. However, I recently reset my iPod Nano and now it doesn't sync to Nike at all. I've tried just about everything. Hopefully they'll fix the problem soon. Until then I'm manually entering my runs to Nike+.

I don't think you can sync up walks. I wish Nike would add that feature.

Hi there. I'm suffering the same problem. Can you tell me how you are entering the runs manually into Nike +?. I've been looking around and cannot see anywhere you can do this.

    Thanks

The only way I've found to manually enter runs is to use the iOS or Android Nike+ app. There is a + at the top-right corner of the activity screen that lets you enter the information. I dont think the website has this function. Hope this helps!

I'm having the same issue now. I don't want to lose my runs by resetting the ipod. Has anyone gotten any help?

The exact thing is happening to me, and this post was just over a week ago. Apple I wish you help and respond to this problem we are having.

Apparently run syncing is working once again. Now I have to delete any manual entries that are duplicates with my synced runs.
