Oct 5, 2016 2:29 PM in response to dominic23by PatrickDShannon,HOW TO KILL POP-UP BLOCKER? Thanx for the screenshot, but my OS X 10.11.6 shows nothing like it in SECURITY. The only limit there currently says, "Require an administrator password to access system -wide preferences." And "Disable automatic logon". I had to download Java, and it is in Prefs in its own file. No-where do I see "popup or pop-up". Searching "plug" in Prefs found Energy Saver, although I found no "plug" there. Searching "Plug in or plug-in" in Prefs gets nothing.

Oct 6, 2016 8:16 AM in response to PatrickDShannonby PatrickDShannon,I had been looking only at System Preferences. I find that my Safari Preferences had always NOT blocked popups. Safari Prefs ALLOWS plugins and WebGL. Verizon's online analytical tool had the problem of loading. I am now so far from trying it that I do not remember the problem details. So I retreat from the Apple Community for now. Thanx for the guidance. It was educational.

Oct 6, 2016 9:10 AM in response to Eric Rootby PatrickDShannon,System Prefs -- Extensions has always been empty. Now that I am aware of Safari Prefs, I find its Extensions also empty. I think I rest awhile then start from zero. Thanx.
