Q: Camera Roll pictures out of order in iOS 10

I have the same problem upgrading from 6S Plus to 7 Plus!  First photos on mac now the iphone camera roll!!

I just purchased a new iPhone 7 and unlike most people did not restore from a previous back up. I simply started fresh. It is an obnoxious kink with the iPhone 7. All of my photographs & videos are displayed oldest to newest no matter which folder they are in (i.e., camera roll, instagram, snapchat, video etc etc.) 

Why would the developers do this to us?!?

That is how mine are. Blocks of photos that are in the proper order, but the blocks of those photos are not in order.

HI, I had the same problem. But I updated my iPhone 7 delete every thing then I restore it again. It work perfect now and all my pictures are in order.

Thanks a lot. I did what you said and my pictures are in perfect order. What you described were very helpful. I talked with Apple to and I told them what you wrote they asked me to try it and see if it works. It did and I send them an Emil. Thanks again you saved my pictures.

Can you confirm if you reset your phone to new and then restore from a backup do you have does it re-set your apple pay and Touch ID?  I just don't think I can be bothered to do that all again especially if Apple have a fix in the pipeline.

My iPhone 7 is currently running 10.0.2.  Do I have to restore from the 10.0.2 backup of this phone or the 10.0.1 backup of my old iPhone 6?

Apple Support Germany told me it's working. As an alternative they told me to delete the pictures on my iPhone 7 and

to restore them from iCloud (either from an old iPhone backup or Photos on my Mac). I don't feel like putting any effort in either one of the "solutions" because I think it's  a pain to start from scratch again. I told this the support employee and hopefully Apple will fix it through an update.

HI, I reset my iPhone to new after it was uptadet to iOS 10.0.2 then I restore it from my old iPhone 6s backup. Yes you have to reset Apple Pay and Touch ID.  i have nearly 5000 pictures and my camera roll being mixed is so annoying. Please let me know what will happen with you if you did it. one of my friend have the same problem and he will do the same. Thanks

The solution :

Erase your Iphone and restore it from the last backup (not the iPhone 7 backup) ,it works for me well .

any other solution if i don't have my photos backed up to iTunes?

Have Apple ACTUALLY confirmed this is a bug AND they are working on a fix?

Cross your fingers and wish Apple work on it for next update,icloud ,it a good solution for you ,think about it.

I got fed up of waiting for Apple to fix this.

Restored my phone from my last iPhone 6 backup. Just restored without erasing first.

Camera roll fixed and there was no need to reset Touch ID or Apple Pay.

Just updated to iOS 10.1 Public Beta 2 and my camera roll is still jumbled (in blocks of photos like others have expressed).

I don't want to lose anything since my 6s backup, so I'm going to hold out for a fix...
