Q: My iPad is linked an Apple ID I don't know

I have 1*****@qq.com and Apple is doing nothing about it.  Emailed then 4 times and no response.  They won't even admit that even though this is a security feature, that their products are gettting hacked by other Apple IDs.  I even want them to take it back, but the local apple store won't.  B of C.

This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID (1●●●●●@qq.com). Sign in with the Apple ID that was used to set up this iPhone.

with my iphone 4s. *** is wrong with apple? they got hacked and we lose our devices?

the security feature is awesome...but not if it lockes you out of your own device please do something about this apple!!!

just disable those icloud accounts !!!

I've got the same problem Apple ID (1●●●●●@qq.com), but I did not know the solution continued with Apple many times by phone, but did not succeed with them please I have a solution ipad2 two years of use, please do not Amemknna solution Hey apple

To update on my situation, I had to provide purchase receipts and order forms from the place I bought my iPad 2.  Thankfully they still had copies of both, and Apple still had an issue resetting my iPad. 

They claimed that I was the only case, and there were no others reporting this issue... I provided the link to this discussion.   Maybe they will find the issue

can you show the receipt(proof of purchase) of your device? just want to know what informations are there in it. I have mine but they say its not matching with what they have with them :/ you can blur out some important things that you don't want to disclose

Same here (i*****@r*****.com) with my iPad mini. Why do I put it in factory reset with my icloud had sign out. Hiks...  

This is my iPad serial number F4KKHQMFF196, and was not stollen reported. Because maybe I’m not the first person who activated the iPad. At that time already got access in the menu.

You've tried  : If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support ? If you can find/remember your id, to reset its password : http://iforgot.apple.com

If you still can't find it, and if you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it wasn’t bought used), you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
