Q: The Add People screen has lots (~1600) faces that just show as blank, grey squares
Hello,
I have been going through my photo library (running Photos 2.0 on Sierra) cleaning up and tagging People. I have gotten it down to where just about every face left just shows up as a blank, grey square. If I go to add that person, the area where the picture would be just spins the progress circle.
Any idea on what is happening? I really miss the ability in iPhoto to be able to have a Smart Album based on a picture with an "unnamed" person.
Thanks, Tim

That is a bug disused here that if you click on the x to remove a face you end up with a blank Thumbnail - hopefully this will be fixed in a future release 9tell Apple about the bug to improve its priority - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html ) and hopefully the fix will fix these old problems as well as doing it correctly going forward - for no it is best to stop deleting faces until this is fixed
