Sep 30, 2016 9:14 AM in response to jchwcpaby jchwcpa,I am in communication with AOO support and they have asked me to test the 4.1.3-dev version of AOO. Unfortunately this version displays the same results as described above on a clean install of Sierra with a new user id (to eliminate any lingering profile settings).

Oct 8, 2016 9:51 AM in response to expcuserby itoio,Thank you for this hint, it saved my day!
I found that OO (4.1.1) is normally working on my two MacBooks (mid 2010 and 2015) and is crashing on my two iMacs (2010 and late 2015). All computers with OS Sierra and latest updates. With your hint, I can use OO now on the iMacs too.

Oct 16, 2016 6:58 PM in response to jchwcpaby jchwcpa,Problem is resolved for me. A faulty color profile (got installed when installing Sierra??) was the source of the problem. Go into System Preferences: Display > Color and select a different color profile. I had two custom profiles there, both faulty. I selected a profile called iMAC from the list at the bottom. Problem gone.
