Q: Does apple cover this?

I have an iphone 6s 64gb rose gold, i bought it 6 months ago from a electronic store in Trinidad and Tobago.  After taking a picture with snapchat, the screen froze and gradually turned white, after which it completely shut off by itself. It is not coming on at all. I tried the sleep/wake and home button method, nothing seems to work. The store gave me 3 months warranty on it, it expired 3 months ago.

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

You can check the warranty coverage on the phone here:

    https://checkcoverage.apple.com

However, iPhones are generally only covered by warranty in the country they were originally intended for sale in. If the store from which you bought it was not an authorized reseller,  they may have gotten it from anywhere. Also, if anyone other than Apple or an Authorized Apple Service provider has ever opened the phone, the warranty is void.

The repair and service coverage is active, the store is not an authorized apple dealer. So what are my options as to getting my device fixed? I went to an authorized apple dealer here, and they said they cannot repair my device unless i have the original apple receipt. But, the electronic store only gave me theirs along with 3 months warranty. What are my options? The device has not been opened or such.

You can certainly contact Apple directly and see what they say. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page. Or, click on the Support link at the top of the page.

I contacted apple directly, they said that they would have sent a box for me to place the device and send it back to them for a replacement, but then they said there is no apple authorized apple support dealer in my country, and they cannot send it to my address, what do i do?

Since your phone can only get warranty service in the country it was intended to be sold, you will need to either bring the phone to that country or send it to someone you know in that country to bring it in to Apple for you.

This is the problem when you purchase an iPhone at an unauthorized reseller.
