Hello, I am using iTune 7.0.1.18. I installed it on three on my machines and I am encountering the same problem on all three (one is a laptop). I just bought a new 80Gb video and an 8Gb nano. I can add audio books, podcasts, videos but no music! I am dragging and dropping my MP3s on the music icon on the left hand pane while the iPod is selected. iTunes shows the progress of the copy for each song and when it is done, it says updating iPod for 2 secs and my songs do not appear (as they normally would in iTunes 6). If I listen to the HD of my 80gb iPod, I can hear the head moving and the platter spinning. No matter what I do, music does not show up. I downloaded Anapod Explorer trial and it CAN copy new music without issue and it does show up in iTunes as well. This is very bizarre. When I plug my old 60Gb video iPod, I get the same problem. I can no longer add music to it???? What gives??
