My iPhone 7 is completely up to date on all software updates, however, the autocorrect/text replacement feature continually replaces “it” to “I.t” any idea how to fix this?

I think you may have configured a text replacement of "it" to "I.t". Check that out. To type it as you want simply click on the X in the image you posted. This also might be a spell checking error in the dictionary or you may have accidentally saved a change.
Thanks for the reply... but I don’t think this is an issue with just my phone. I know at least 5 other users with a variety of iPhone models with the same issue. I have nothing saved to my text replacement, and yes, I could hit the “x” every time I type the word I.t, but honestly that seems like a pretty bad solution to my problem. You never realize how often you use the word I.t until I.t becomes a problem! 🙄

Might be a bandaid, but for now it seems to have solved it!
Tried the text replacement in multiple variations, restarted phone it worked for one text message then went right back to using I.T. What am i doing wrong? Please make this stop before I become a droid user.

If it's in the dictionary used by the spell checker then you need to edit it out. I don't know how to do that.
Have you tried to reset your keyboard definitions? settings>general>reset>reset keyboard definitions.
Just tried that... I.t 😡 doesn’t seem to have worked! I.t I.t I.t I.t

Hi. You said the iPhone is completely up to date, but do you actually have iOS 11.1.1, which should have fixed this, or the latest iOS 11.1.2? Check Settings > General > About > Version.
Yep, updated yesterday hoping I.t would fix I.t, but no luck ...
If this is a popular issue, you can set a new text replacement from "l.t." to "it" or "it" to "it".
It's maybe not the best solution, but I guess it should work.

Me and several people I know are also having this problem. I tried the text replacement thing and it doesn't work for me 😟
Go to settings>general>dictionary and deselect all the dictionaries, then force restart your phone, then go back to the dictionaries and select the ones you need to see if this helps.
