Mouse pointer hidden on rotated display after 10.13.4 upgrade

I just upgraded my MBP to 10.13.4, but I noticed my mouse pointer was not visible on a 90' rotated external display I run. I tried rebooting, PRAM, SMC, etc. resets, all the normal stuff, but it wouldn't help.

I confirmed that if I change the rotation on this display back to 0', the normal sized mouse pointer is indeed visible as expected

As a workaround, I discovered I can see the mouse pointer on my rotated display if I go to System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Display and set the Cursor size to the first mark above 'Normal'.

I'm posting this here for anyone else with the same issue to find the workaround and for Apple to notice and hopefully patch in the next release.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, 4 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

FTR, I contacted Apple support and they directed me to Product feedback: https://www.apple.com/feedback/macos.html

If this is serious enough to affect you negatively, I'd suggest also submitting feedback there.
