I'm having issues with my Tunetalk and iPod. When I record in stereo, it skips through out the recording. I'll be listening to what I have recorded, and I'll notice that chunks of about 3 seconds are missing from the recording. Does this have any thing to do with the buffer and hard drive? I'm recording my bands live shows, so I want to keep it stereo. Any suggestions? I've tried restoring my iPod in iTunes with no luck. Still skips.

Exact same problem! I returned the first one and now the new one is doing the same thing. I heard it was a firmware issue but my Ipod is up to date. Any solutions?

Belkin is sending me a third one. They said they
have not had any other incidents reported, and that I
must of recieved two bad ones by chance. I'm about
to go crazy. I tell them I suspect the HD buffer,
and they just dismiss it. When I get the third one,
and it skips, I'll know for sure.

If anybody else is having this problem, please let
belkin know. It will help the rest of feel a little
    more sane.

    Well everyone,
What's the latest on the TuneTalk skipping problem? I just got my tunetalk and love it, cept is skipped when recording in stereo with my 5th gen 30 gig video ipod. Belkin tech support sounds like they don't know what they're talking about, "Thank you for contacting Belkin Components. Make sure you have the latest firmware update from Apple's web site for your ipod. If you already have the latest firware upgade then the Tunetalk should be replaced. We have only seen this issue with earlier versions of the firmware on the ipod."

Did bassguitarman's 3rd replacement fix the problem?

Is there any difference running off the iPod battery vs. plugging into an USB or wall charger?

Has anyone found a solution? The TuneTalk is a great little device otherwise.
