I have an 80gig iPod and an old iMac G4 anglepoise
running iTunes 7. I'm about to buy the new iMac 24"
and have a question regarding my iTunes library. Once
I transfer the library to the new iMac and sync the
iPod for the first time will iTunes want to delete
everything on the iPod and start again or will it
just carry on where the old Mac left off?
Perhaps. The best way to do this is download Yamipod, you can download it here. www.yamipod.com

How did you go about it. Fwire transfer from old imac to new, migration assistant or library on to external drive then into Music folder of new imac or did you use http://www.yamipod.com or http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/
I have new imac 20" and my 20Gb ipod is linked to a G5 at work and would now like to link and maintain it from new iMac at home.
