I have a lexmark z 605 that I am trying to get to connect with airport express. I've had airport for a while and can receive internet and music connections. However, I cannot get the printer and airport to corporate.
I've gone into systems preferences (on Mac OS X 10.3) and enabled printer sharing on the sharing folder.
I've also gone into printers to check that the printer is default, which it is. I can connect the print cable directly to the computer and it works.
I also went into Airport Express utility and the printer I have is listed under: Utility> Configure> Base Station> Airport> Base Station Options> USB Printer

Hopefully that makes sense. Does anyone know anything else I can do to make this work? Thanks!

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. A quick look at the iFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility List doesn't show this particular Lexmark model. This doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified.
