i have noticed that when i use garageband some times, it knocks the sound capability out of other programs like iChat and Finder (no more trashcan sounds). its fine after a restart, but what is up with that. any ideas?

i sometimes use my iSight cam, and sometimes a midi USB keyboard...
not sure if that would have anything to do with this issue...

thx

Apple needs to know about these bugs, or they will not be addressed in Leopard. I too have bugs that crop up, for example, while I use FinalCut, my clock stops updating. What's up with that? So basically, no, I have not solution for you, but yes, you should report it to Apple.

Go for it! Let them know this is a bug and not a feature request.
