I'm sure this is an unusual question because... well it kind of is.

Anyway, I was wondering what the best type of desk would be best to

a) Support the weight of the Mac Pro + 24-30 inch display
b) is extremely fancy due to the fanciness of the Mac Pro

I was thinking a glass desk... one with shatter proof etc.

Any ideas? Pictures/links would help

Thanks

and for a chair, may i suggest a Herman Miller Aeron. you haven't sat until you've put your gluteus maximums into one of these for a day of work. awesome.

    good luck!

www.anthro.com has the desk I bought for my new MacPro. My MacPro attaches to the side of desk and is lifted above the ground. I also have 30inch and 24inch LCDs on the desk. They have a really wide variety of sizes styles and they are all incredibly customizable.

I was thinking of buying the Anthro Console desk (with the adjustable keyboard shelf) It isn't the best looking desk out there but sure looks rather functional. What unit did you buy? Sounds like you're happy with it.

An optical mouse won't work on a glass desk. You would need a mouse pad, or you could get a trackball.
