Q: Apple LaserWriter 630 Start-up Test Page

After years of use, my LaserWriter 630 has started printing Printer Configuration & Parameter Information test page every time I use the printer. How can I stop this? Thank you. Charles

Run Apple Printer Utility under OS 9 or Classic (it really does work under Classic) and you can adjust whether the startup page prints, get the page counts, set options, etc.

I very much appreciate your suggestions, and tried both in Classic and 9.2.2. In both cases, the option to print the test page was not checked and there was no other command I could find. Every time I turn the printer on, it prints a test page. I hate wasting the paper and toner.

To the best of my knowledge there is NOT, but it does run under Classic.

There is an equivalent utility for Windows. It seems very odd to me that a Windows version exists, but no OS X version.

I would love someone to prove me wrong.
