I want to take pix from an iPhoto album to display desktop pictures that automatically change at a specified interval. I found an article that is supposed to address this: "iPhoto 5 or later: Desktop "change picture" feature does not work with new iPhoto albums"
i followed the instructions, "As a workaround,......In iPhoto, select the pictures you want to appear on your desktop. Click the Desktop button in iPhoto. Desktop & Screen Saver preferences will open with the selected photos as an iPhoto Selection, and the "Change picture" checkbox will already be selected."

BUT when I click the Desktop button the Desktop & Screen Saver prefs DO NOT open up - nothing happens at all.
Has anyone figured this out?

Create a folder on the Desktop, copy the pix you want to display, System Preferences->Desktop & ScreenSaver->Desktop->Choose Folder, select the one on the Desktop.
