Something strange has just started happening in Mail.
If I Reply to, or Forward or try and Send Again an email that has text and attached documents, (it doesn't matter what form the attachments are, i.e. JPEG or PDF), the attachments are in the new email but none of the body text.
Also, it's now losing my signature file on Forwarded or Send Again emails (but not on Reply).
If the original email is purely text, without any attachments, then it's all fine - all text and signature file in place.
All relevant Preferences are unchanged and correct. I've tried changing the "When quoting text ..." option in the Composing Preference, but it make's no difference.
Coincidentally, this has only started happening since I installed Safari 3.0 Beta yesterday, but I cannot see why this should be a factor.
It's the beta. If you uninstall it, things will be back to the way they were. The Safari beta changes a LOT of files that effect many functions and programs on the Mac, hence the need for a restart. It messes around with widgets and Mail, among other things. I had to uninstall it...
