Yeah, I bought "Remind Me" by Royksopp (the Geico caveman song) earlier and wanted to make that into a ringtone. Yes, the song in my library had the bell. I had been getting an error message and when I went to try it again this afternoon, I saw it didn't have the bell next to it, and when I went onto iTunes, I noticed the version from the album I bought was no longer designated a ringtone, but others released on EP's or other releases were.
And no, I'm not going to buy the song over again, just for ringtone purposes.
This ringtones thing blows. I know it's largely not Apple's fault. I fault the RIAA and their GD DRM restrictions and all that. Just make them all available and be done with it. There's money to be made.
