I'm trying to import a QuicktimeVR file into Keynote 2.0.2. I can import the file, but I cannot then access the file to manipulate it like I can in Powerpoint; essentially the file acts like a static image instead of like a movie.

In Powerpoint when the cursor is placed over the QuicktimeVR file, it controls the movie rather than the slideshow.

This issue also exists for normal Quicktime movies in Keynote, but there is a work-around (using the "F" key to pause and restart the movie); but this doesn't work with QuicktimeVR where the user has to activate and manipulate the movie directly.

Is there anyway around this problem in Keynote 2.0.2, and if not, is it corrected in the new version of Keynote?

Unfortunately, you cannot control QuickTime VR movies in any version of Keynote.

o when, o when, apple, will you figure out that people want this feature? I've been waiting for years (or however long Keynote has been around). Just hoping someone will spot this post and do something about it.
