Q: Need to get NOW CONTACT files off of old 3400c

I have a mailing list file on a 3400c that I want to put on a clamshell ibook.
The file is a NOW CONTACT file.
I decided to email it to myself...for some reason as soon as I attach it to email, it goes from being a NOW CONTACT file to just a document file and NOW CONTACT will not open it...
soooooooooo odd....
can anyone help me with this???

Maybe try compressing it (using stuffit) before you attach it to the e-mail?

Also you should be able to network the 3400c to the clamshell using Ethernet ports and move the file that way.
