I have a Nikon Coolpix S50 model labout 6 months old. Using a USB cable, I try to upload the pictures into iPhoto (version 6.0.6) and when you run the upload from iPhoto it will often stall and lock up for both pictures and videos.

The iMac is updated with the latest software updates.

Any advice?
