Hello,

Something weird happening when I try to forward emails with photos. They don't show up on the recipient side. This is annoying when you are trying to send family photos around the family that come to you!

Thanks in advance...

Sorry I cannot help because I was about to post a call for help as I have a similar problem. When I try to forward an email with images of any sort the forwarding email panel contains only Lego bricks decorated with question marks in place of the images. This has only just stated and coincides with installing iLife 08 but as that has no Mail program I assume that it is a coincidence. Just to add insult to injury, the sound effect warning of incoming mail no longer operates. Anyone out there who can help please?

There is a temporary work-round. Save the photos from the incoming mail to the desk top and then import them to your new outgoing mail.

I note that there are several threads on this same problem. I am having the problem also. Is "cut, paste, save, reinsert (then try again)" really the SOLUTION to this new problem? I am not going to purchase Leopard to solve a problem that Apple has created for me.

Hi, I had a sudden problem where some recipients couldn't open my attached pictures. I solved it by dragging and dropping jpgs into the body of emails. That may or may not help! Hope you get it solved as these sticky little complications are very frustrating!

I cannot get jpegs or gifs to show in the body of fowarded mail even using copy paste - just the icons. Animated gifs lose animation in the drag and drop process or the copy/paste process. I am pretty disgusted with this - I have used Apple Mail successfully since OS 10.1 and now it appears to have broken. What is going on? Can anyone give a satisfactory result - not a half-a---d workaround!

When I make a new message all my attachments show as Lego bricks. If I send a mail to myself with a *Lego' brick attachment this shows up fine as a photo or pdf-file when I receive it. It also shows up nicely in my send folder. Does anyone know what I might have changed or what Apple might have changed? It is very disturbing not to be able to see what sort of attachments that I am trying to send.
