Q: Creating folders in Mail
I'm a former PC user and new to MAC. Can anyone answer the below questions pertaining to e-mail?
1.) Is there a way to create personal folders like the folders I had with Outlook? I've setup my POP mail through the Apple mail but see no option to create folders.
2.) What are Smart Folders? I created a Smart folder thinking these could be used as a personal folder but I'm unable to drag/drop mail into the Smart folder I created.

I can help with #1..
At the bottom left of the Mail window is a + sign..
Click on that to add as many personal mailboxes as you want..
You can drag any mail into that box of you can setup a "Rule" so all the mail for that particular mailbox goes into it.
