Currently Being ModeratedJan 5, 2008 7:20 PM (in response to pretty good, but not great)I was unable to SEND MAIL using the same earthlink outgoing mail server I had been using on my laptop.
If you have several earthlink addresses under one (earthlink) account, you might need to use the username and password from the PRIMARY account for it to work.
The emails will still appear to be from the whichever email address you use, but in the ADVANCED menu, when you are entering Outgoing Server settings, use the username and password from the primary earthlink Account and see if it works. (Incoming mail settings can be same as on your computer).iPhone, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

and click on "Setting up your email program", you will get step by step directions for setting up your account. Note the change in the outgoing server number from 25 to 587.
