Spelling Check in Office 2008

I recently upgraded to Office 2008, and I can;t get the auto-spellcheck to work, In 2004, misspelled words showed up with the red lines under them, now I get nothing like that. I have gone to preferences, and everything appears to be set up correctly. I am writing my graduate thesis right now, and am about to pull my hair out!

    This forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and completely unrelated to Microsoft Office.

    Issues with Office may be posted to Microsoft's own Mac products forums, as it's their product, and not Apple's:

    I think it would be better to let other mac users answer these people's questions, if they can, rather than order them to go to a MS site where they will probably get nowhere.

    We're supposed to be the nice guys, remember.
