Feb 2, 2008 12:14 PM in response to userremovedby Limnos,What kind of G5 is this exactly? I don't know G5s but I seem to recall reading that an Intel G5 drive needs a different kind of formatting (GUID?), not HFS+ -- or I may be all off track here. -

Feb 2, 2008 5:47 PM in response to userremovedby Mike Sombrio,You said you partitioned the drive. What option did you choose Apple Partition Map or GUID. For a Power PC machine you should choose Apple Partition Map.
