Currently Being ModeratedFeb 3, 2008 8:52 AM (in response to William Damon)Hey William,
Had the same problem since yesterday -- and it's no coincidence it was after you tried to register your new Office 2008. The problem is pretty thoroughly addressed (and discussed -- another MS "indecent act against users") in:

Currently Being ModeratedMar 1, 2008 4:30 PM (in response to The Graphicist)My specific error message is: Keychain "login" cannot be found to store "safari"
While it doesn't necessarily prevent me from using safari, it is extremely inconvenient in trying to navigate sights when a new login window pops up every time the screen changes.
Unlike other articles I have read, I did NOT install office 2008, and the support article posted above didn't help - I still get the same error message. Any other suggestions?1.5 GHz PowerPC G4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
