Single-link. But all the holes are there so that you can plug in and use a dual-link cable if need be.

what is the dual link cable? Any way to get this to act as dual monitors?

Ironically, people report that they are able to do this on a Mac mini running Windows. Under OS X it isn't possible. It stems from a difference in the GMA950 driver written for the respective OSes.
