Currently Being ModeratedMar 8, 2008 6:41 PM (in response to Gerald Henderson)I tried deleting the iCal plist and I still cannot sync events on the Touch to iCal.
So far, I have tried:
resetting sync history in iSync
deleting iCal plist
deleting iTunes plist
deleting iPod plist
Any other ideas? I'm this close to doing a restore on the Touch.MacBook 2GHz w/2GB RAM + 120GB hdd, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

I did some investigating and made a post in the "Using iPod Touch" forum (didn't notice this forum until afterward):

Deleted plist for ical - no joy
Deleted plist for itunes, ipod and isync - no joy
Reset isync history - no joy
Repeated all the above again in one go and it now works!

After much frustration, reinstalling iTunes (2X), "Restoring" iPod (2X), I reinstalled 10.5, updated, and now all is well. Next time I have a problem, I'll come here first!Dual 2.5 G5 + iBook, Mac OS X (10.5.2), iPod Touch 16G
Currently Being ModeratedMar 9, 2008 11:46 PM (in response to BigBadBo)I have been having syncing problems since I bought my MacBook a year and a half ago. I had a Palm and got rid of it because it wouldn't sync. I replaced it with the iPod Touch and that too has been a nightmare. Events will not go from the iPod to the MacBook. I have practically lived at the Genius Bar and they went so far as to do a full erase and restore of my MacBook. That worked for awhile and now the problem is back. I have restored the iPod countless times, I have deleted the plist files, I have reset the isync history and none of it has worked.
I also have an odd problem in that the Address Book contacts won't sync from the MacBook to .Mac. Anybody else have that problem? Any other suggestions on how to fix this? It's driving me nuts.
Thanks.MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.1), Leopard
