Q: Wallstreet reboots and immediately freezes.

I have checked ac adapter. It is ok. Unable to shut down after startup except by using shift/fn/ctrl/power
battery wont charge. It is abt a year old.
Any help ?

    Welcome to the Discussions.

    By any chance are you using a USB PC card in the PCMCIA card slot? If so, remove the USB PC card (manually eject with the button or use an opened paperclip in the small hole next to the card slot). If the Wallstreet now starts, head to the Energy Saver > Advanced Settings and uncheck the 'allow processor cycling' for both Battery and Power adapter. There is a bug in the USB software that will cause this freeze when using a USB PC card but this will avoid the issue. By the way, resetting the PRAM and/or power manager may reset the Energy Saver to its default which is 'allow processor cycling'.
