...after being stable for a while at 161, the issue has now come back, several times in a row. Only Apple TV affected, none of my other devices
Back to Auto I guess and hope as so often, that Apple has a fix soon.....

I've had the same problems. I have switched to 161 and we will see how it works.

One thing I noticed was the Apple TV never dropped the connection when streaming music. The connection was only unstable when I was streaming videos. That could just be coincidental though.

    Time will tell I guess.

And it just dropped the connection.

Trying channel 36 with wide channels OFF.

It seems the 2.0.2 update fixed this issue. I have had a connection for 24 hours with wide channels on.

    That's good.

Now that Apple has a working driver, let's hope they will put it into Mac OS 10.5.3!

i am having same problems as everyone else. using time capsule as my router, set to N only network, and since software update, appletv will not recognize my itunes store name/password, and the other can't find the network. used to work perfectly. what a pain in the butt.
