Currently Being ModeratedApr 23, 2008 8:04 AM (in response to Tamara Lyke)The light is flashing amber because something is wrong. The airport utility should tell you why on the main page of the device summary.
If you cannot connect to it using the airport utility, then a factory reset is likely in order.
My guess... the "internet" tab in airport utility will show you are not connected to your network. I am assuming you have added the device to an existing network via a wire of course. MBP, G4, Nano, ATV, TC, AX , Mac OS X (10.5.2)
Currently Being ModeratedApr 24, 2008 7:03 PM (in response to Darren 2007)I've tried resetting the Airport many times. I hold the button 10 seconds and it flashes appropriately only the light never turns green and stays green. Always flashing amber. I see the Airport listed in the utility and the light in th utility is green as if everything is working but it's not.Powerbook G4 17 inch, Mac OS X (10.4.8)
