Jun 7, 2008 7:18 PM in response to Jazuuleby jimsocal,I don't have one, I have the Belkin, but what I would try is to unplug the a.c. and then plug it back in. -
Jun 16, 2008 12:47 AM in response to Jazuuleby Ravenuser,I have this problem with a Nano 3rd generation.
The dock works (it charges the iPod and sync with iTunes), but with the remote I only can modify the lineout volume. Not even the ipod volume.
Is that normal? Isn't it supposed to let you "control playback from a distance using the Apple Remote", as written on the first page of the booklet? -
Jul 22, 2008 9:39 PM in response to Ravenuserby nick666,Hi, I've got the 3rd gen ipod - 40gb, and I have this exact same problem. I've also got a 4th gen ipod and it has no problem at all. Amusing thing is that i have the older universal dock, with the round IR port and the 3rd gen ipod remote works fine.. but it's just with the newer universal dock. Is there any solution - cos the remote already has limited use, i would like it to do more than just volume.
