i dont know... yesterday, when i got the message to update to mobileme, i went on the website and it worked, but it didn't load... it just stuck on the loading screen after i logged in. now it is not up at all and .mac is still down... my email still works with Mail.app though... maybe they did an accidental launch right when i was online, which is why i was able to download the update and access the website... I dont know.... I'm sure it will be up and running sometime today though with the launch of the iPhone 3G

I cannot log into www.mac as it has shown for the last (at least) 18 hours that they are doing maintenance.

I am also not getting all my .mac email.

I can sometimes log into http://www.me.com/mail/ and see that there is mail there but it I cannot read it.

There sure are a few burps in this transition to mobile me and I am getting frustrated.

ooops sorry I am using panther not leopard and it still isn't working.

How do I find out what is going on?

    thanks

For Leopard only - mobilme update :

    http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/43/32/zzz061-5009/xhMJmcKHHGWGr7kKtsdpn vw4VfD8VxbSfy/MobileMe.pkg

( uups just found out - the above link is broken )

For Tiger it is not working with the mobilme update.

Just go with Safari to :

    http://www.me.com

    and log in

    - it is working since a few hours

    Have Fun!

A friend of mine signed today for a Trial at .Me (what an unlgy name) and there's no way to configurate the Mail in 10.5.4. No options in Mail. He can see he's connected in .Mac Prefs but there's no way to add his .Me account an Mail.

Also I'm very dissapointed… Just renewed a few days ago and it says now is 34€ less And the service is not working fine at all. Have been not able to upload webs or things to iDisk since yesterday.

    Thanks guys and gals.

I will wait it out a bit longer.

Someone suggested a Gmail work around which didn't work for me as Gmail couldn't access the .mac server ...

mac.com still not working, and I've gotten no response to my support request. Also, the .Mac discussion group has changed. Anyone know what is going on with this?

What do you mean about "mobileme"?

    Any help appreciated.

Ugh! What is happening? When I try to post this message I'm getting:

500 java.sql.SQLException: Unable to retrieve connection from DriverManager

Resin Professional 3.0.23 (built Mon, 22 Jan 2007 02:25:17 PST)

(I can't believe the new i-phone is causing this much trouble!

When I try to log in through the preference pane, I get dumped to a "not found" page. Trying to get in via the mobile page dumps me to http://www.apple.com/mobileme/.

I'm using FF3 on 10.5.4 with the mobileme patch from the Apple sw site installed into the system prefs - software updates down't show a mobileme update (yet). Bit of a showstopper.
