I can not import have hour TV shows into the IDVD program. When I went to media, only 8 video showed, and, I have 30 or so, music videos. But, I want to burn 4 of the TV show I have on my ITUNES. But, none of the TV shows I have on itunes, show up in idvd. Any suggestions?

iDVD is for burning your own movies, filmed with your own camcorder or digital camera, to DVD. It is not a tool for ripping copyrighted material to DVD, nor can users here tell you how to do that. Even if you paid for the TV shows in iTunes, they are copyrighted material that contain protections against what you are trying to do.

Hello new user here. . .my new (less than one year) MacBook Pro has iDVD on the dock but it will not run? Wasn't it included in my software when I bought this machine?

Yes it was, but I have no idea why it's not working.

I would look at the right section of the discussion site, under iDVD, there you might find your answers.

Just so you know, if you're referring to videos purchased from the iTunes Store, the copy protection prevents them from being burned to a video DVD no matter what tool you try.
