Q: Connecting IPOD to French TV

I am trying to connect my IPOD to French TV i.e. SECAM but have only the choice of NTSC or PAL on VIDEO SETTINGS. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

Try using the PAL option; PAL and SECAM are similar.

Have tried both PAL & NTSC without any luck - I just get a hissing sound and a message "No Signal" on the TV.
