If it still fails, call AppleCare (1-800-APL-CARE) and ask for installation help. You might have either a bad disc or a bad DVD drive.Octo 3GHz MacPro, 8GB RAM, 4 X 500GB drives, X1900, Aja IoHD, FCS2, Mac OS X (10.5.4), Also have a black MacBook w/ 2GB RAM

It'll happen in way more cases than just this one.iMac G5 20" (no isight), Mac OS X (10.4.11), 2GB of RAM and 120GB external HD
