Q: Workgroup Manager unexpected error of type -14002

When trying to view users in /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 under workgroup manager, I get:
The node /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 couldn’t be opened because an unexpected error of type -14002 occurred.

All of the users under /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 cannot login/access mail.

    It turned out my LDAP server wasn't running. This happened after I had to rip the plug out of the server about 5 times the other day.

    Following cjmorford's advice, I ran:

    sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.openldap.slapd.plist

    sudo /usr/bin/db_recover -h /var/db/openldap/openldap-data

    sudo launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.openldap.slapd.plist

    and now it's working
