Currently Being ModeratedOct 20, 2008 11:24 AM (in response to skaterboardp)sounds like apple might of put too much thermal paste on the cpu or something.
Back when i was researching into issues with my mbp i was reading about some laptops getting too much thermal paste and it not working.
If thats the case with you, take it to an apple store and they can just remove it and just reapply the thermal paste.
If that doesnt help, definetlly get them to look at it, im guessing if they cant fix it in store, they can send it to 1 one of their apple repair depots somewhere in the united states....MacBook Pro (15-inch ,2.4GHz, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2,8600M GT 256MB, 200GB 7200 RPM, Mac OS X (10.5.5)
