I just did something stupid, right after clicking the rental button, I realized that I should have grabbed the movie I want to watch tonight on my MacBook which is connected to our TV.

Is there a way to transfer the movie from my Mini to the laptop to watch it? Both are authorized for my iTunes account.

I'm guessing it's not possible, but I thought I'd ask just in case.

I don't think you can transfer a rental movie from one computer to another, only from the computer to a device, like iPod or Apple TV. I cannot access iTunes from this computer, but if you go to the store's main page and scroll to the bottom, you should see a link for Terms of Sale. Click that and scroll to the portion on should spell out there what you can and cannot do.

Can't you share your library on the MacBook and connect to it with the Mini? That works for most media, but haven't tried it with rentals.
